This is my niece, Campbell. She has pediatric cancer. This picture was taken 05/02/2012, the day she and her family went in to get a scan to check her progress. We were hoping for NED = NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE.
The good news was the lesions on her spine are stable. There has been no progression.
Now the bad. There are 2 new tumors in her brain. They are not operable, and Campbell can't have any more radiation. She is starting a new chemotherapy regimen, a clinical trial through CERN. Her mother says they still mention the word "cure." But we have to do our part, too.
We need your prayers but even more...
WE NEED A CURE!
Please help us. If everyone donated a little: $10, $5, or even $2, it would be a step in the right direction.
I know wallets are tight across America. My wallet certainly is, BUT let's do the math. If two (2) little dollars (less than a Starbuck's coffee) came in from one million people, that would mean 2 MILLION DOLLARS would go to cure pediatric cancer. That's the kind of money that could make a significant impact.
Visit my CureSearch Walk Donation page. You can donate or, better yet, you can sign up to walk with us on September 30th in Verona Park, NJ and join the fight against pediatric cancer! All proceeds go to a cure for children's disease. Give whatever amount you can, but please give something.
Just one cup of coffee.
I'd trade a cup of coffee for a little girl's life, wouldn't you?

She and so many others like her need your support. Find a way this month to support pediatric cancer research. Every little bit helps thousands of children, just like Campbell.
Other organizations in support of pediatric cancer:
St. Baldrick's
Alex's Lemonade Stand
Cookies for Kids' Cancer
CureSearch
CERN Foundation

Wishing all the best for Campbell...so many of us are touched by cancer and are working to help in whatever way we can! Good luck. x
